In case you were already rooting for Maarten, the radiation treatment has been pushed back a little more and will not start yet this week!
The doctors are still tweaking the program and don't leave anything for chance! We will hear all about it upcoming Thursday. The treatment itself will most likely start next week (we are not specifying any date anymore until triple sure!)

ReplyDeleteThis is your librarian friend Glenda, who used to ride in the vanpool with your dad. I wish I had known that you were on the UW campus on Thursday. Even though I am retired now, I still come to work as a volunteer usually on Mondays and Fridays. But I was there last Thursday when you were on campus. I would love to give you a tour of the "secret" parts of Suzzallo, the basement, the SUB-basement and other bits of the library not seen by most people. Let me know when you are up for another visit to "upper campus" (what we call the part of the UW that is NOT the medical end of things), and we'll have a library adventure.
