Maarten-the-cutest

Today's MRI showed that the tumor is stable, no sign of activity at all! This means that 2-year-post-diagnosis-mark has been successfully passed: HURRAH!
The doctors were all impressed by Maarten's good health, strength and cute-ness, the picture below speaks for itself...

PS: Can you guess to whom the pretty Croc's belong to?

Camping

This post is about our one-night camping trip to the Snoqualmie corridor. We didn't get a lot of sleep (nor did our neighbors), but it was FUN!
Below a couple of pics:

Aaahh, the luxury of being back home.....

So you can see that Maarten is still doing great, and we are very grateful for that!

On the bike!

We got ourselves a super cool bike seat - with matching helmet -, and are touring around the neighborhood.

There is nothing more relaxing than reading a good book on the beach

School is fun!

YEEAAAHHH, Maarten is going to school!
He has been accepted to the early-intervention program of the Boyer Children's clinic, which has a special program for kids with developmental delays.
It is just super cool (see pics!) and Maarten really loves it. We are sure he is going to blossom there.

hugs to all!

Welcome to 2010!

Shame, shame, shame, tralala, shame on me! No new post since Halloween, oeioeioei.

Well, just to come with the most important news: Maarten is doing well!
His last MRI of January showed no sign of tumor growth and we finally got rid of the terrible nose-tube. I do have to mention that he now is the proud owner of a terrible tummy-tube, but at least it doesn't irritate the throat and is nicely tucked away out of sight.
Also, while watching his cousins in Holland over Xmas, he picked up a few tricks here and there, and he is becoming a true little rascal. I suspect him soon to be running around the house!

Guess who was at the center of attention during Xmas!

A stormy day on the beach in Holland.

3 cousins in the snow

We LOVE Dutch television

Retrospectively, I think we had let him watch way past bedtime!

Big kisses to all!
