I, Maarten, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2008 when I was just 3 months old. After brain surgery, chemotherapy in Seattle and proton radiation therapy in Boston, the tumor slept for 8 years but came back in 2017. My amazing brain surgeons and radiologists managed to remove it once again. We are now in 2021 and the tumor has showed its ugly face again. We are lucky to have our life-long Seattle Children's medical team at our side to beat this thing down once more!

Happiness in April

Maarten's April-MRI showed no sign of tumor growth! This great news gave Maarten wings. Enjoy the video!
c'est fantastique mon chouchou!!! tu es un grand bonhomme! tu peux être très fier de toi! j'ai hate de te voir et gambader avec toi. gros bisous tata julie c'est ENORME !!! et dire qu'on aurait pu te tendre les bras... A bientôt pour des calins et plein de biso papic et mamic Papic et Mamic
Super mon Chouchou!!! Velo, course a pied, tu vas mettre une latte a ton papa au triathlon! Ca a l'air d'etre du grand bonheur. On y rajoute une barquette de poutous nippon!
