This post is about our one-night camping trip to the Snoqualmie corridor. We didn't get a lot of sleep (nor did our neighbors), but it was FUN!

I, Maarten, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2008 when I was just 3 months old. After brain surgery, chemotherapy in Seattle and proton radiation therapy in Boston, the tumor slept for 8 years but came back in 2017. My amazing brain surgeons and radiologists managed to remove it once again. We are now in 2021 and the tumor has showed its ugly face again. We are lucky to have our life-long Seattle Children's medical team at our side to beat this thing down once more!
We forget to mention that we spotted a gorgeous bear poop during our afternoon hike," rich in black berries and freshly made judging by the heat" said Sacha, PhD.

hehe, I actually considered posting a photo of the (proposed) bear-pooh, but finally decided against it...
